Longtime music mogul Jermaine Dupri, the man who helped Atlanta and the South to the forefront in the hip hop and pop music industry, is now reportedly about to lose all his rights to the music label he founded and turned into a music powerhouse in the 1990s, the media has reported.

JD is in jeopardy of losing his rights to the music from his So So Def label after he has repeatedly failed to satisfy the loan massive loan.

Dupri reportedly borrowed $4.8 million from SunTrust Bank back in 2010, tmz.com reports, and he paid more than half of it back. Suddenly, however, the bank stopped getting payments. Therefore So SunTrust is now suing Dupri for nearly $2 million, which is the past due balance plus the interest on the loan.

The man who wrote and produced hits for the likes of Kris Kross, Usher, Mariah Carey, Da Brat and Xcape has an even bigger problem: to procure the loan, Dupri had put up collateral of some of his most prized possessions — mainly the copyrights and royalties to the many songs his label owns. As we’ve seen from examples such as Michael Jackson’s ownership of the Beatles catalog, such ownership is usually very lucrative.

This continues a money-flow problem of the last few years. Dupri satisfied a $3 million tax lien in February and he scarcely staved off foreclosure efforts on his Atlanta mansion twice in the past year.

Although Justin Bieber isn’t old enough to be in a bar (he’s only 19) he went to three of them Wednesday night and balled out spending lots of cash.

The underage pop star partied with a group of his friends at “21 and over” nightclubs in New York City.

They stopped at Avenue before heading to Marquee.  An eyewitness at Avenue tells RumorFixexclusively, “He was upstairs so no one actually saw him except for when he was going up, but his people did pick out girls and sent them upstairs.”

Our source says Justin left Marquee shortly before 4 a.m., but he didn’t stop there. The energetic teen stayed on the West Side and continued partying at 1Oak club.

“All the clubs didn’t care about his age because of the amount of money he spent,” another eyewitness tells us.

Miguel‘s now-infamous failed stage jump at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards may wind up costing him after all. The singer jumped over a pit of audience members and crash landed onto one unlucky female concertgoer named Khyati Shah. Immediately following the incident, Shah conducted an interview alongside Miguel smiling broadly and indicating that all was forgiven. But Shah was doing the interview while holding an ice pack to her elbow.

“Well, I think it’s kind of clear what happened,” Miguel said at the time. “But I’m very happy to introduce my new friend, Khyati, we just met . Unfortunately we did not meet under the best circumstances, but I think we’re okay.”

“I  adore him,” Shah said.

But now, it looks like the young woman may be considering a lawsuit. Shah’s attorney, Vip Bhola, told “E! News” that a decision will be made soon on whether to file a lawsuit after Khyati’s most recent medical results.

“We will determine [whether to file a lawsuit] after we have feedback from medical providers,” Bhola said. He declined to give a timeline on when any civil action might be filed.

According to Shola, Shah has been experiencing unspecified “difficulties” since the awards show mishap.

Atlanta-based rapper Lil’ Scrappy is checking himself into a rehab facility to treat what he calls an “out-of-control” marijuana addiction.

The 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Darryl Kevin Richardson II, told reporters Wednesday that he made the decision to seek help because marijuana could land him in “longer-term trouble.”

“I’m not just trying to cure the feeling for right now,” he said. “There’s no good in it. The only good I get out of it is the feeling for the time being. After that, it’s trouble right after that.”

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star was arrested for felony gun and marijuana possession in 2008 and received a three-year probation sentence for the first-time offense.

After he failed a court-ordered drug test in March, Lil’ Scrappy refusal to provide another sample resulted in a warrant for his arrest.

“I don’t blame the judicial system for me being in my situation,” the rapper said. “I’ve put all fingers on myself. I have a willpower that God blessed me with, but I wasn’t able to use it because of my addiction.”

Though his arrest is documented in part on the VH1 reality show, the rap artist also told reporters that his rehab stint was not a publicity stunt.

“I don’t feel good about this,” he said.

The publicist for Pilar Sanders tells RumorFix exclusively that she quit because Deion Sanders estranged wife provided her with “falsehoods.”

Kali Bowyer says one of those falsehoods came from Nikke Sanni, who she brought to RumorFix saying she had new evidence that she thought could make Pilar’s prenup invalid. Nikke told us that she overheard a conversation between Deion and T.D. Jakes about how to hide Deion’s money from Pilar.

Kali now says that Nikke and Pilar “have a longstanding relationship with one another” and she thinks Nikke did interviews with RumorFix and two other media outlets just to break intoentertainment and help out Pilar. And, Kali says she just learned that Nikke changed her story and offered to be a witness for Deion.

Kali says she became aware of the lies while co-writing a book with Pilar. “When it became public that the book is in the process of being written, Pilar Sanders grasped for straws in hopes to cover up her false claims and flat out lies, in fear of being sued by Deion Sanders,” Kali told us.

So now, the publicist, who has engaged in bitter Twitter feuds with the NFL legend, says she reached out to Deion over the weekend and says she will provide information and documentation to his team.

“All I can say is what a horrific situation Pilar has placed her children in and thankfully, they are safe, well provided for and protected now.”

ANDRE 3000’s MOTHER FOUND DEAD IN HER HOME IN ATLANTA!

NEW YORK — Andre 3000’s mother died in her sleep early Tuesday at her Georgia home, a representative for the rapper at the firm Sunshine Sachs said Wednesday. Sharon Benjamin-Hodo was 58.

She died in Rex, Ga. No other details were provided.

Benjamin-Hodo was the founder of The Starlight Camp, a program that supports underprivileged children. It is part of the New Morning Light Missionary Baptist Church in Conley, Ga. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hodo, who is the church’s pastor.

Andre 3000 was born Andre Lauren Benjamin. He turned 38 on Monday.

He is one-half of the Grammy-winning hip-hop duo OutKast and has appeared in several films. He will play Jimi Hendrix in the biopic “All Is by My Side,” due out this year.

Chauncey Black, one of the founding members of the group Blackstreet, does not like the way Teddy Riley works it … so he’s taking him to court.

Black claims in a new lawsuit he owns the name, but Teddy’s been using it illegally.  It’s actually a bit more complicated.  Black says originally Teddy owned the name but his trademark expired and Black then snapped it up.

Black claims Riley has flagrantly violated his rights by performing with another band and passing themselves off as Blackstreet.

As for why they’re not performing together, Black claims he can’t work with Riley because of his “uncooperation.”

A rep for Riley tells TMZ, “At this time we have no comment on ANY of the ridiculous and frivolous claims APPARENTLY being made by Chauncey Andre Hannibal aka’Black.'”

Kordell and Porsha Stewart’s divorce battle heated up recently when Porsha revealed that Stewart had kicked her out of their marital home and changed the locks. And although it seems like Porsha is the victim in their bitter breakup, Stewart claims that Porsha is to blame for her own problems, especially when it comes to her finances.

Stewart recently claimed that he didn’t kick Porsha out, but that she actually abandoned their home. And according to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Stewart is refusing to give Porsha money to buy a new place because he claims Porsha is simply playing the role of a “locked out” victim to “make herself more marketable in the media.”

Stewart then provided his own account of the changed locks fiasco, in which he claims that he texted Porsha, telling her about the locks days before he changed them, adding “If and when you need to get in, give me a heads up.”

Stewart also claims that Porsha is free to get her belongings from their home any time she wants, but he refuses to buy her a new pad, saying that Porsha is strapped for cash and living with her mom due to her own “financial negligence.”

Stewart claims that Porsha failed to pay her own taxes and that her condo went into foreclosure because she spent her money on “grooming and clothing items” and he’s asking a judge to deny Porsha’s request for temporary financial assistance.

Chicago rapper Chief Keef is likely going to fall back on releasing a diss song directed at Katy Perry after accepting the pop singer’s public apology for critiquing one of his songs this week.

Following Perry’s multiple apologetic tweets, Keef took blame for threatening her but also used the opportunity to admit he wants to have sex with Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush‘s girlfriend.
