ACTING GHETTO FAB!! KEYSHIA COLE REFUSES TO PERFORM IN HOMETOWN OF OAKLAND, CA BECAUSE SHE WAS ASKED TO OPEN FOR “THE WEEKEND”!!

Keyshia Cole has returned back to the spotlight with her fifth studio album, Woman to Womanwhich stood out among many of the hip-hop and R&B albums released in 2012.  Though Cole was asked to perform at KMEL’s House of Soul concert in her hometown of Oakland, Calif., she was requested to open for new R&B crooner The Weeknd. Cole refused and KMEL wouldn’t budge, therefore the show went on without her anticipated performance.

As many Cole fans realized that the soulful voice was not showing up,  many reached out to Cole on Twitter to get to the bottom of things. Of course any seasoned artist with three platinum albums would be upset at the blatant disrespect for industry tenure, and Cole expressed her discontent with the entire situation.

You can take a negro outta the gutter…..you know the rest. All I can say is that Keyshia’s career will be short lived. She is a know it all. Has she realized that she is not a Mary J. Blige. “Booby’s career is not promised, he is not a LeBron James nor Carmelo Anthony. If she was asked to sing at a circus, she better not say no. She needs that money.
