CHECK OUT SOME WAYS HOW FORMER NFL PLAYER; VINCE YOUNG BECAME………….B.R.O.K.E.!!!

Vince Young should have been set for life after signing a $26 million contract as a rookie with the Tennessee Titans in 2006. However, six years later, Young is struggling financially and nearly broke, according to the New York Daily News.

Young played for the Philadelphia Eagles last year and was cut by the Buffalo Bills in August. Although Young is a capable back up quarterback, he remains unemployed.

Let’s look at some reasons why Vince is going broke now. Maybe some others can learn from it:

Once Bought 120 Plane Tickets to Be Alone

Vince Young didn’t want to be bothered during a rather short flight from Nashville to Houston. So he decided to purchase 120 Southwest Airlines plane tickets. He would have purchased all 130 seats, but 10 individuals had already purchased tickets.

In 2011, Young got into a verbal altercation with a manager of a strip club. Young was upset because the manager wouldn’t allow him to convert $8,000 from his credit card to one dollar bills. Young was eventually arrested.

During his rookie season, Young would take teammates to the Cheesecake Factory and spend $5,000 each week at the restaurant.

Vince and teammates would often hang out at the sports bar. He once spent $6,000 on food and drinks.

Borrowing Money During NFL Lockout

Young was of 10 players who took out a loan with Pro Player during the NFL lockout. He took out a $1.9 million loan at an outrageous rate of 20 percent. He claims his financial adviser and lawyer received money from the loan.
